The CAHSS Edition is a Lipsey's exclusive configuration of the Mark IV Limited series, identified by its "LIMITED" receiver rollmark and CAHSS-prefix serial numbers. As part of the program, $50 per unit was donated to CAHSS, adding clear provenance to each example.
The pistol uses Ruger’s simple blowback, single-action system with a fixed barrel/receiver and internal cylindrical bolt. The 4-inch, non-threaded, round bull barrel is steel with six-groove rifling and a 1:16 RH twist.
Controls include an ambidextrous manual safety, with a left-side safety lever featuring a red indicator dot. The trigger is a curved, gold-colored unit. The frame is black-finished aluminum, while the receiver is blued steel. Smooth rosewood grip panels wear red Ruger medallions.
Sighting is via adjustable iron sights: a ramped gold bead front and a fully adjustable rear. The receiver top is drilled and tapped from the factory, with filler screws installed.
