The Super 14 barrel line is discontinued, and the Contender's modular, switch-barrel design is known for maintaining zero with barrel-mounted optics.

It is drilled and tapped, with the front-sight holes filled, and is configured without iron sights. The Super 14 barrel line is discontinued, adding appeal for Contender enthusiasts seeking this specific setup.
A Burris 5x24mm fixed-power pistol scope with a crosshair reticle is mounted on a barrel-mounted base using a two-ring setup with two-screw ring caps. Mounting the optic on the barrel complements the Contender's modular design, allowing caliber or length changes while maintaining zero with barrel-mounted optics.
Pachmayr Presentation rubber furniture is installed, including the grip and matching beavertail-style rubber fore-end with medallions. This setup provides a secure hold and complements the pistol's heavy-barrel balance while maintaining the Contender's clean, classic lines.
