MasterPiece Arms DS9 Hybrid 9mm Double-Stack 1911, 5 in 416R Bull Barrel, Optics-Ready, 20+1 Capacity
The MPA DS9 Hybrid is a full-size, double-stack 1911 built for precision and durability. It features a hand-lapped slide-to-frame fit, a 5 in 416R stainless bull barrel, and an Accuracy X Multi-Sight modular plate system that leaves the pistol optics-ready from the factory. The machined aluminum grip module with aggressive texturing and a large flared magwell complement its high-capacity 20+1 design.
The tri-top slide incorporates lightening ports plus front and rear cocking serrations for confident manipulation. The sighting setup is purpose-built for a red dot: no rear sight is installed, and the slide carries an optic mounting plate ready for a red dot to be mounted. A red fiber-optic front blade provides a bright aiming reference.
The steel frame uses a full-length dust cover with an integral MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail for lights or other rail-mounted equipment. All major components are bar-stock or billet with no MIM parts, and the slide/frame fit is hand-lapped for smooth cycling.
Controls are straightforward and familiar: single-action, hammer-fired operation with an ambidextrous thumb safety and a grip safety. The flat-faced trigger includes a lightening window and a red anodized shoe, paired with a skeletonized commander-style hammer.
The red/black anodized aluminum grip module uses aggressive circular bubble texturing for traction, and the large flared magwell speeds reloads. Capacity is 20+1, and this pistol includes one 20-round and one 17-round steel double-stack DS9/2011-pattern magazine.
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: The firearm presents solid overall integrity. Cosmetic scratches and blemishes are visible in a few areas.
