This full-size, 5 inch NG 1911 is built on a forged stainless steel frame finished in satin silver, with checkering on the front strap and mainspring housing, a high-cut under the trigger guard, and a flared magazine-well funnel. The slide is stainless steel with a KimPro II black finish, creating a clean two-tone look.
The slide adds practical features including front and rear cocking serrations, flat-top serrations to reduce glare, and a lowered and flared ejection port. It uses an external extractor for consistent case control. The barrel is stainless steel, bushing-fitted, and finished with a deep crown. A GI-style short guide rod and recoil spring plug keep the setup traditional and serviceable.
Factory sights include a red fiber-optic front and a plain black, serrated fixed rear for a crisp sight picture. The slide is cut at the factory for RMR-footprint optics and ships with a cover plate installed.
Controls and fire-control parts are thoughtfully appointed: an ambidextrous thumb safety and a grip safety with a memory bump, a skeletonized commander-style hammer, and a lightened, skeletonized GT Performance Trigger with an approximate 4–5 lb pull.
