The 17T is a factory-engineered Glock training platform configured for 9mm FX Simunition marking cartridges. The slide is clearly marked "17T" and "9mm FX," with a right-side warning that reinforces its training-only purpose: "For 9mm FX ammunition only—do not use live ammunition."
Gen 3 features include finger grooves, a small left-side magazine release, two front frame pins, a standard takedown lever, and a left-side slide stop. The striker-fired Safe Action system mirrors duty-grade handling for realistic training.
The matte black slide uses rear serrations only and retains factory warning text. Sights are Glock fixed polymer units with a white dot front and white U-outline rear for a familiar sight picture.
The bright blue polymer frame provides immediate visual identification as a training pistol and includes the Glock universal accessory rail. The pistol is full-size with a typical 17+1 capacity when used with Glock 9mm magazines.
Frame markings include "MADE IN AUSTRIA" with importer "GLOCK, INC., SMYRNA, GA," aligning with its Austrian origin. This example fires training ammo and is not to be used with live rounds.
