The LC9s shown here is the standard model with manual safety (not the LC9s Pro or EC9s). It is striker-fired and built around a 3.12" alloy steel barrel with a 1:10" RH twist. The slide wears a black oxide finish and uses rear-only vertical serrations for traction.
The frame is black, glass-filled nylon, keeping weight to 17.2 oz while maintaining rigidity. Dimensions are compact and easy to manage: overall length 6.0", height 4.50", and width 0.90". Standard capacity is 7+1 with the included single-stack magazines.
Sights are practical and durable: a fixed steel front blade with a single white dot, and a steel rear sight that is dovetailed, windage-adjustable, and secured with a top set-screw. Together they provide a clean, 3-dot sight picture. The dust cover is smooth with no accessory rail.
Safety features include a bladed trigger safety, manual thumb safety, striker block, and a loaded chamber inspection port. The LC9s line was introduced in 2014 and later supplanted by the EC9s, with this example manufactured in 2016.
This pistol also includes an adhesive/textured grip wrap installed on the frame for added traction. Three 7-round magazines are provided, with a mix of finger-rest and flush floorplates.
