This FNX-45 Tactical is a full-size, DA/SA, hammer-fired pistol chambered in .45 ACP with a 15+1 capacity. Its polymer frame and stainless steel slide are finished in Flat Dark Earth and built with fully ambidextrous controls, including the manual safety/decocker, slide stop, and magazine release.
The 5.3 in cold hammer-forged stainless barrel is extended and threaded 0.578x28 TPI with a 1:16 right-hand twist. This configuration supports muzzle device use and pairs with suppressor-height sights for a clear sight picture over mounted devices.
Sight duties are handled by suppressor-height 3-dot tritium night sights, complemented by an optics-cut slide for mounting an optic. The slide features front and rear cocking serrations, an external extractor, and a loaded-chamber indicator, with a 6.4 in sight radius for steady alignment.
Ergonomics and setup are flexible thanks to interchangeable backstraps and a MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail. Four 15-round steel double-stack magazines are included, providing ample capacity and time on the range between reloads.
