This US-made FN FNP-40 USG is a full-size, DA/SA, hammer-fired pistol chambered in .40 S&W. It pairs a stainless steel slide with a hammer-forged stainless steel 4 inch barrel and a high-strength polymer frame. The USG configuration brings ambidextrous manual safety and decocker controls, and this example comes with six 14-round magazines.

The FNP-40 USG configuration features ambidextrous manual safety and decocker controls, giving the shooter deliberate DA/SA operation with an external ring-spur hammer. Fixed 3-dot sights are dovetailed into the stainless slide for durability and straightforward sight service.
The 4 inch hammer-forged stainless steel barrel and stainless slide are paired with a high-strength polymer frame. The frame uses aggressive grip texturing and accepts interchangeable backstraps (factory feature) to tailor the grip to the shooter.
Controls and handling elements include front and rear cocking serrations, an external extractor, and an integral accessory rail on the dustcover for attaching a light or similar rail accessory. The pistol is marked "FNH USA Fredericksburg VA" and "MADE IN USA."
Designed within the FNP family, this model incorporates replaceable steel frame rails and a modular fire-control unit. Capacity is 14+1, and the included double-stack steel magazines have polymer baseplates and witness marks numbered to 14.
