This Model 25-15 is built on the S&W N-frame and chambered in .45 Colt, with a six-shot fluted cylinder and a 6.5 inch barrel. The yoke is stamped 25-15, and the barrel is marked .45 COLT CTG., aligning it with the Classics series configuration collectors expect.
The revolver is constructed from carbon steel with a polished blued finish on the frame, barrel, and cylinder. A serrated topstrap and serrated barrel rib aid sight alignment, and the barrel features a partial underlug with a partial ejector-rod shroud.
Target-focused sighting equipment includes a pinned Patridge-style front blade on a ramp and a micrometer adjustable rear sight. The wide smooth-face trigger and wide checkered hammer spur provide a traditional S&W target control setup.
Factory stocks are checkered wood target grips with S&W medallions. The left side of the frame includes the S&W internal lock keyhole. Overall length is approximately 12.0 inches, and factory-listed weight is about 42.5 oz. Made in the United States.
