The ReadyDot Package integrates a factory-installed Ruger ReadyDot micro reflex sight on a slide that is milled with an optics pocket beneath the sight. Ruger’s optic cover/base plate with hardware is included if the owner chooses to run the pistol with iron sights. The pistol retains a manual thumb safety and a loaded chamber inspection port.
Construction emphasizes durability: a through-hardened alloy-steel slide with a black-oxide finish, a hammer-forged alloy-steel barrel, and a one-piece precision-machined fire-control chassis. The 3.2 in barrel uses 6-groove rifling with a 1:10 RH twist. Front and rear slide serrations and molded grip texturing provide confident handling in a compact footprint.
Sighting equipment includes a tritium fiber-optic front sight and a drift-adjustable rear sight. The ReadyDot uses a dot reticle and complements the pistol’s iron sights, giving clear, fast sight options on a micro 9mm package.
Controls and safeties are comprehensive: a reversible push-button magazine release, trigger with safety blade, internal striker block, and a manual thumb safety. The frame marking indicates the pistol will fire with the magazine removed (no magazine disconnect). Capacity is 10+1 rounds of 9mm Luger, and the pistol is made in the USA. The box shows Ruger’s 75th Anniversary (1949–2024) branding. Barrel length is listed on the box as 3 3/16 in, with Ruger’s factory specification at 3.20 in.
The manufacturer’s suggested retail price is $489.
