This Government-size 5-inch 1911A1-pattern pistol incorporates period-correct GI features: an arched, vertically serrated mainspring housing with lanyard loop; frame relief cuts (A1 scallops); a smooth front strap; and a short A1-style trigger with a spur hammer. It uses GI-style fixed sights with a narrow front blade and a small rear notch for a traditional sight picture.
The forged carbon steel frame and forged slide are finished in Grey Cerakote (Wartime Grey), providing a matte, duty-style appearance. Internals follow Series 70-style geometry without a firing-pin safety. Rear-only vertical slide serrations and a non-lowered ejection port further match classic A1 configuration.
The 5-inch button-rifled barrel is marked on the hood with .45 ACP, and the exterior carries 'ZIG M1911, TURKIYE' markings. The pistol includes GI-style controls with a left-side thumb safety and a grip safety. Unloaded weight is approximately 2 lb 5 oz, giving it a solid, traditional Government-model balance.
Stocked with double-diamond checkered Turkish walnut grips, this Issued Series variant carries import and model marks including 'TISAS KNOXVILLE TN', 'ZIG M1911', and 'TURKIYE'. The factory case label identifies the model as '1911A1 U.S. Army WG'. Flush-fit 1911 magazines are 7-round capacity.
