The P-01 configuration pairs a compact 9mm format with a 7075-T6 aluminum alloy frame and integral accessory rail for light or laser mounting. Its slide runs on internal frame rails in the proven CZ 75 pattern, contributing to a low bore axis and the model’s characteristic handling. The matte black finish is applied to both frame and slide.
The barrel is cold hammer-forged and measures 3.6 inches. The pistol uses a recoil-operated, locked-breech tilting barrel system. An external extractor is fitted to the slide.
Controls and sights are straightforward: a left-side decocking lever (no manual safety), loaded chamber viewport, and a ring-style rowel hammer. Sights are dovetailed and fixed, with a red fiber-optic front and a plain black rear for a clear sight picture.
Markings and proofs include the model designation “CZ 75 P-01 cal. 9x19,” the NATO Stock Number “NSN 1005-16-000-8619” engraved on the frame, “MADE IN CZECH REPUBLIC,” and the CZ-USA Kansas City, KS import mark. A triangular proof with an adjacent “23” date mark is present. The frame, slide, and barrel carry matching serial numbers.
Capacity is 15+1 with the included standard-length magazine, and this pistol comes with two additional 10-round magazines. The supplied steel double-stack 9mm magazines are compatible with the CZ 75/P-01 platform.
