The 92X Performance Production uses an all-steel Vertec-style frame finished in matte silver/grey (Nistan) with aggressive front- and backstrap checkering and an extended beavertail. An integral accessory rail on the dustcover supports mounted equipment as needed.
Its Brigadier/heavy-profile slide incorporates front and rear cocking serrations, including saw-tooth serrations, and retains the open-top design. The operating system is short-recoil with a falling/locking block.
The Xtreme-S trigger system delivers a short reset with adjustable take-up and overtravel, paired with a skeletonized trigger and skeletonized rounded hammer. Controls include an ambidextrous manual safety, firing pin block, oversized textured magazine release, low-profile slide stop, and an enlarged stepped takedown lever that also serves as a gas-pedal index point.
Sight regulation is straightforward with a red fiber-optic front and a fully adjustable rear iron sight. Dimensions are approximately a 4.9 in barrel, 8.7 in overall length, 1.8 in width, and an unloaded weight around 47.6 oz. Capacity is 15+1.
