What’s Included
- Colt Pocket Positive .32 S&W Long revolver
Manufactured in 1937, this Pocket Positive represents Colt’s pre-WWII pocket-frame revolver design chambered in .32 S&W Long (Colt’s .32 New Police). It uses a compact, rounded-butt frame and a six-shot fluted cylinder, combining concealability with a full-hand grip and steady balance.
The 3.5 inch carbon steel barrel carries a narrow, longitudinally serrated sighting flat for glare reduction. Sighting is straightforward with a fixed half-moon front blade and a square-notch rear integral to the top strap. The ejector rod is unshrouded with a knurled tip for positive control.
Operation is double-action/single-action with Colt’s Positive internal hammer safety. The swing-out cylinder uses a star ejector and a checkered Colt thumbpiece for smooth, secure manipulation. Capacity is six rounds of .32 S&W Long.
Construction is all-carbon steel with a pre-war polished blued finish. Markings include the barrel legend "POCKET POSITIVE .32 POLICE CTG." alongside Colt’s maker/address line, and the Rampant Colt logo on the frame. Checkered walnut grips with Colt medallions complete the period-correct configuration.
