The KHX Custom Optics Ready features an optics-cut slide designed to co-witness with its tall white-dot iron sights. The rear two-dot sight is integrated into the optic plate, allowing a clear sight picture with or without a mounted optic.
Built on a stainless steel frame and slide with a matte gray KimPro II finish, this pistol combines durability with distinctive styling. Hexagonal surfacing on the slide and texturing on the topstrap enhance purchase, while a stippled/dimpled frontstrap and G10 grip panels with hex/scale texture provide secure traction.
A match-grade 5-inch stainless barrel with a bushing and a 1:16" LH twist delivers precise lockup. The single-action 1911 fire control includes a skeletonized three-hole trigger and a skeletonized commander-style (rowel) hammer. Controls include a left-side thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety with a memory bump. The frame is non-railed.
