This M11-A1 variant is a recoil-operated, locked-breech, hammer-fired DA/SA pistol with a Short Reset Trigger. It features SIG’s classic control layout with a decocker, takedown lever, and slide catch, plus an exposed spurred hammer for confident manipulation.
The slide is stainless steel with a Nitron finish, and the frame is aluminum alloy with a hard-coat anodized finish. Internals are phosphate-coated. The dust cover is non-railed, maintaining the compact P229 profile that many shooters prefer for carry and duty holsters.
Sight arrangement is a dovetailed SIGLITE tritium front and rear set for low-light visibility. Black textured two-piece polymer grips are molded with P229 (right panel) and SIG SAUER (left panel) markings for positive purchase.
