This Ruger SR1911 is a full-size, Government-pattern .45 ACP built in 2013 with an all-stainless construction and a low-glare bead-blasted finish. It features Novak-pattern sights, a classic GI-style recoil system with barrel bushing and plug, and a stainless steel barrel. Made in Prescott, Arizona, it includes Ruger’s visual inspection port, a lowered and flared ejection port, and quality fire-control components that 1911 shooters appreciate.
The investment-cast stainless frame and matching stainless slide deliver a durable, traditional 1911 package. The skeletonized Commander-style hammer, three-hole aluminum trigger, and double-diamond hardwood grips with Ruger medallions give it a clean, functional setup. This full-size SR1911 uses the standard GI-style recoil system with a barrel bushing and plug, preserving the classic 1911 feel and field-serviceable design. The 5-inch stainless barrel pairs with a lowered and flared ejection port and a visual inspection port for quick chamber checks.
The slide is finished in low-glare stainless with rear serrations for confident manipulation. The Novak-pattern fixed sights include a dovetailed front blade with a single white dot and a low-mount, drift-adjustable rear to refine point of aim.
Fire-control and safety features include a single-action, short-recoil operation, a beavertail grip safety, manual thumb safety, and a half-cock notch. Ruger equips this model with a titanium firing pin and heavy spring (no firing pin block), a skeletonized Commander-style hammer, and a skeletonized three-hole aluminum trigger.
The investment-cast stainless steel frame includes an integral plunger tube and wears double-diamond checkered hardwood grips with Ruger medallions. Capacity is 8+1 with the included factory magazine. The pistol is marked RUGER MADE IN USA and PRESCOTT AZ, reflecting its U.S. manufacture in 2013.
