What’s Included
- Browning B-SS Sporter 20 Gauge side-by-side shotgun
Built on a steel boxlock action with a top lever, this B-SS Sporter presents the straightforward reliability buyers expect from a Browning side-by-side. The solid matted top rib provides a clean sighting plane, and the blued finish ties the metalwork together with a traditional look.
The 26 in B-SS Special Steel barrels are marked "B-SS SPECIAL STEEL 20GA. SHELLS - 2 3/4 and 3". Chambers are cut for both 2 3/4 in and 3 in shells, offering flexibility across loads. Fixed chokes are Improved Cylinder and Modified, a versatile pairing for field and clays.
Stocked in walnut, the gun wears a straight English-style wrist with cut checkering for a secure hold. Up front is a slim/semi-beavertail forend with a Deeley-style latch. Length of pull measures 14.0 in. A steel buttplate marked "BROWNING" completes the furniture.
Light scroll and rosette engraving accents the receiver and hinge area, with "BROWNING" stamped on the underside. The single trigger keeps operation simple, and capacity is two rounds. The "RP" year code indicates 1978 production.
