The Encore platform uses a break-open, single-shot action with an external hammer, offering simple operation and solid lockup. The stainless frame and receiver wear a matte finish that matches the barrel, and the rifle is built in the United States.
The 26 inch stainless barrel features a heavy, round, non-fluted profile for stability. It is drilled and tapped and includes a QLA crown. The barrel bears a Rochester, New Hampshire rollmark.
This 209x50 Magnum configuration uses an inline 209 shotshell primer via a breech plug. It is rated for magnum loads up to 150 grains equivalent (3x50-gr pellets), giving flexible charge options within the platform’s specification.
Sighting is handled by fiber-optic irons: a red ramp front and a fully adjustable rear with green inserts. The synthetic camo stock and fore-end include a straight comb and pistol grip, with a rubber recoil pad and QD sling-swivel studs. Length of pull is 14.0 inches.
An add-on hammer extension spur is installed to the external hammer. Capacity is single shot, as standard for the Encore muzzleloader configuration. The platform is compatible with other Encore barrels across rifle, shotgun, and muzzleloader formats.
