What's Included
- 1x 8-round single-stack steel magazine (for Colt Model 1903 .32 ACP)
The Type III variant eliminates the magazine disconnect and uses the thumb safety as an inspection-notch hold-open. The slide does not lock back on an empty magazine, and there is no external slide stop lever. Rear vertical slide serrations provide a secure grasp during manipulation.
Controls and safeties include a manual thumb safety and grip safety, paired with an internal (concealed) hammer and a heel-style magazine release. The pistol operates via a single-action blowback system, true to the Browning design.
Sighting equipment consists of fixed iron sights with a small rounded front blade and a drift-adjustable U-notch rear. The compact format, 3.75 inch barrel, and 8+1 capacity suit the model’s original pocket carry intent while preserving period-correct features.
Construction is all steel with a blued finish. The black checkered hard-rubber grips carry the COLT banner and rampant horse emblem. Slide markings include the right-side legend "COLT AUTOMATIC CALIBRE 32 RIMLESS SMOKELESS," with the rampant Colt logo located behind the rear slide serrations. The slide face features an integral muzzle/slide profile characteristic of the model.
