The Stainless Target II is built on the 1911 Government-size platform with a 5 inch match-grade barrel and a full-length guide rod. Its stainless steel frame and slide wear a satin silver finish for a clean, uniform look that matches the model’s name and purpose.
Sighting is handled by a fully adjustable rear target sight and a fiber-optic front sight with a red/orange rod for high visibility. The slide features front and rear cocking serrations and a lowered, flared ejection port.
Controls and internals are configured for precise, consistent operation: single-action trigger with a skeletonized three-hole aluminum shoe, a skeletonized Commander-style hammer, and a checkered magazine release. Safety features include a beavertail grip safety with raised memory bump, a manual thumb safety, and the Series II Swartz-type firing-pin block.
This example is customized with a Recover Tactical CC3H grip/rail module that adds a MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail, a multi-port muzzle compensator, and a textured grip wrap/overlay. It is chambered in 9mm Luger with a 9+1 capacity and comes with one magazine, plus the original factory grip panels and the original Kimber manual.
