The stainless 20 inch barrel is threaded and fitted with a multi-port brake, combining durability with recoil control. A round, ribbed free-float tube with vent holes surrounds the rifle-length gas system, and a low-profile gas block features a short Picatinny rail and fixed front sling swivel.
The forged aluminum receiver carries the ArmaLite lion-and-globe logo along with "RIFLE 7.62MM," "AR-10A4," and "ARMALITE INC., GENESEO, IL" markings. A dust cover and case deflector are present, and the rifle uses a rotating bolt and direct impingement action.
Furniture and controls include a 6-position collapsible stock with a slip-on rubber buttpad, a UTG rubber finger-groove pistol grip, and a steel rear sling-loop end plate. The selector is marked SAFE/FIRE.
