Wartime-built at RSAF Enfield in 1942, this No. 2 Mk I* is a double-action-only, top-break service revolver chambered in .38 S&W. It features the DAO "Tanker" configuration with a spurless hammer, a 5-inch barrel rib marked "CAL .38" and "42," and fixed sights with the rear notch integral to the stirrup top-latch. British Broad Arrow property marks are present in multiple locations, and it carries postwar British commercial "BNP/3.5 TONS" reproofs, reflecting its sale out of service. V-prefix serial range.

    What’s Included

    • RSAF Enfield No. 2 Mk I* .38 S&W revolver

This Enfield-pattern revolver retains its correct WWII configuration: double-action-only operation with a spurless/bobbed hammer, a top-break frame secured by a stirrup top-latch, and a simultaneous star extractor for rapid ejection. The fixed sights include a squared front blade and a rear notch machined into the top-latch.

The 5-inch barrel rib is marked "CAL .38" and "42," aligning with its 1942 wartime manufacture. Broad Arrow proof marks can be seen in multiple places on this revolver, denoting British government property. A V-prefix serial further situates it within period production.

Postwar British commercial proofs stamped "BNP/3.5 TONS" indicate it was later reproofed in the UK and sold out of service. These markings provide clear, traceable provenance from military use to civilian release.

Construction is all steel for the barrel, frame, cylinder, and receiver components. It wears black checkered composite grips with brass escutcheons, and the frame retains the lanyard-swivel boss. Capacity is six rounds of .38 S&W.
