This IWI Galil ACE SAR in 7.62x39 is a thoughtfully upgraded, excellent-condition rifle built on a milled steel receiver with a 16-inch cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined CrMoV barrel. It features a mounted Trijicon MRO red dot on a Geissele Super Precision lower 1/3 mount, an upgraded ALG Defense Ultimate Galil trigger with Lightning Bow, a Midwest Industries M-LOK aluminum handguard, a Magpul Zhukov-S folding, LOP-adjustable stock, and a SureFire SOCOM-pattern 7.62 muzzle brake. It retains the ACE's long-stroke gas piston system, ambidextrous safety selectors, left-side charging handle, and continuous 1913 top rail, and accepts AK/AKM-pattern magazines. Receiver markings reflect Israel manufacture with IWI US import marks. This U.S.-market 16-inch 7.62x39 ACE SAR variant was later discontinued as IWI transitioned to the Gen II line.

The Galil ACE SAR platform here is built around a milled steel receiver with polymer components and a continuous 1913 Picatinny top rail. The barrel is 16 inches, cold hammer-forged and chrome-lined CrMoV, with a 1:9.45 RH twist. It is threaded and currently fitted with a SureFire SOCOM-pattern 7.62 muzzle brake. Markings include CHF/CL 1:9.45 and import stamps from IWI US, Middletown, PA, alongside IWI - ISRAEL origin markings.
Upgrades include a mounted Trijicon MRO red dot in a Geissele Super Precision PN 05-470 mount with a lower 1/3 co-witness, providing a durable, repeatable optic setup. The trigger is the ALG Defense Galil Trigger – Ultimate with Lightning Bow (AGT-UL), a single-stage design that offers a clean break and consistent pull.
The Midwest Industries M-LOK aluminum handguard reduces weight and adds accessory flexibility while maintaining rigidity. The stock is an upgraded Magpul Zhukov-S folder, adjustable for length of pull and mounted via an adapter at the ACE hinge interface. Ambidextrous safety selectors, adjustable iron sights (protected front post on the gas block and rear aperture on the top rail), acceptance of AK/AKM-pattern magazines, and a factory weight of approximately 7.5 lb round out a capable, modernized configuration.
