The Model 336 RC Regular Carbine configuration delivers a handy 19" package with two barrel bands and a full-length magazine tube. Chambered in .30-30, it holds 6+1 and retains the classic, smooth Marlin lever action known from this era.
Manufactured in 1976, this rifle features the pre–cross-bolt-safety setup typical of the period. It uses a solid-top, side-eject receiver that is factory drilled and tapped, paired with a gold-colored trigger for an authentic 1970s look.
The barrel is carbon steel with Marlin’s Micro-Groove rifling, and the iron sights include a hooded front ramp blade and a semi-buckhorn rear with elevator. The receiver and barrel wear a traditional blued finish.
The hardwood stock has a glossy finish and pistol-grip profile. Classic stock details include the Marlin bullseye inlay and a logo buttplate with a white-line spacer. Length of pull measures 13.5".
Practical add-ons are already in place: a see-through scope base/rail, a hammer spur extension for easier cocking, and quick-detach sling swivels with a leather sling attached.
