The 28-inch vent-rib barrel uses the Rem Choke system with a flush tube installed, and a single front bead provides the sight reference. The barrel is marked "REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY ILION, NY." and "12 GA. 2 3/4" AND 3" — 3 1/2" ONLY WITH SUPER MAG RECEIVER."
The laminated hardwood stock and forend feature pressed diamond checkering for a secure hold. This pistol-grip stock includes a rubber recoil pad, and the length of pull measures 14.0 inches.
The steel receiver wears a matte black finish and is marked "Remington 870." A polymer trigger plate assembly, dual action bars, and a fixed tubular magazine with a takedown cap round out the action. The cross-bolt safety is located at the trigger guard.
Chambered for 2 3/4 and 3 inch shells, this 12 gauge pump-action shotgun has a 5+1 capacity. It retains the ventilated rib with no mid-bead observed. Made in the United States.
