This Rock River Arms LAR-15 is a 5.56 NATO AR-15 carbine built around a 16 inch M4-profile barrel with an M203 cut and a carbine-length gas system. It features an A4 flat-top upper with a T-marked Picatinny rail, a free-float quad-rail handguard with a numbered top rail, and a fixed A2 front sight base with a bayonet lug. The rifle includes a rail-mounted folding rear aperture sight and a Magpul RVG vertical foregrip, plus two 30-round Magpul PMAGs. Receivers are matte black anodized aluminum and the muzzle is finished with an A2 birdcage flash suppressor.

The A4 flat-top upper provides a T-marked Picatinny rail (T2–T12) for precise accessory placement, matched to a carbine-length free-float quad-rail with a numbered top rail. The fixed A2 front sight base includes a bayonet lug, and the rifle ships with a rail-mounted folding rear aperture sight.
The 16 inch M4-profile barrel features the M203 cut and a carbine-length gas system, capped by an A2 birdcage flash suppressor. The barrel is threaded, and the assembly includes a standard forward assist and ejection port cover.
Ergonomics are handled by a 6-position collapsible stock and an RRA overmolded finger-groove pistol grip. The stock provides a 10.5 inch length of pull setting. Controls include a manual safety, and the rifle uses a direct impingement operating system.
The LAR-15 accepts STANAG magazines with a 30+1 capacity. This example comes with two 30-round Magpul PMAGs and an installed Magpul RVG vertical foregrip. Receivers are aluminum with a matte black anodized finish, and the rifle is made in the United States.
