The Scorpion EVO 3 S1 is a semi-automatic, straight blowback 9mm pistol with a robust polymer construction and practical control layout. It uses a paddle-style magazine release and an ambidextrous two-position safety. The side charging handle is non-reciprocating, swappable, and includes a lock-back notch, with a bolt catch/release on the left side for efficient handling. The adjustable reach-to-trigger grip supports a more tailored trigger reach.
Its 7.72 inch cold hammer forged barrel is paired with a dual-threaded muzzle: 18x1 RH at the exterior with an internal 1/2x28. This setup offers flexibility for compatible muzzle devices that match either thread pattern. The vented polymer handguard keeps weight down and promotes airflow around the barrel.
A continuous top Picatinny rail of roughly 11 inches runs the length of the receiver and handguard. The pistol comes with folding adjustable iron sights, featuring a folding polymer front post and a folding polymer rear aperture. Additional Picatinny segments at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions expand accessory placement options.
Built with a fiber-reinforced polymer frame and receiver, the pistol is lightweight for its size at about 5 lb without a magazine. It measures approximately 16 inches in overall length and about 9.4 inches in height. The pistol configuration includes a rear end cap with a sling slot. Capacity is 30+1 with compatible magazines.
Manufactured in the Czech Republic, this example bears CZ-USA Kansas City import marks and Czech proof marks with a 2021 date code. It accepts CZ Scorpion EVO 3 pattern magazines and is from the EVO 3 S1 line, which CZ has since discontinued in favor of the Scorpion 3+.
