The Stingray configuration delivers a 4.25 in bushing barrel with a GI-style recoil system, giving this 1911 its Commander-length balance while retaining traditional 1911 operation. The forged steel slide rides on an aluminum frame finished in matte gray, producing a durable two-tone look with the dark slide over the light alloy receiver.
Ergonomics are enhanced with an Ed Brown Bobtail Cut mainspring housing, G10 sunburst-textured grips with slotted screws, and a checkered magazine release. A skeletonized commander-style hammer and a silver 3-hole skeletonized trigger complete the control set.
The slide is equipped with rear cocking serrations in a scale-pattern texture and a lowered/flared ejection port. Sights are dovetailed Novak-style: a white-dot front and a 2-dot rear for a clear 3-dot sight picture.
Controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety and a grip safety. The pistol uses Series 70–type lockwork with no firing pin safety. Capacity is 8+1 in .45 ACP, and this example includes a MEC-GAR 8-round magazine.
Markings and import data include the TISAS KNOXVILLE TN import mark, "Made in TURKEY," and a "ZIG M45" marking under the dustcover. The factory case label reflects "1911 Carry B45BA CALIBER: .45 ACP" with matching UPC and model identifiers.
