The Double Agent is a Nighthawk Custom and Agency Arms collaboration built in 2025, combining Nighthawk’s One Gun, One Gunsmith build philosophy with Agency-style slide machining. It uses a compact, double-stack Commander frame with a Recon accessory rail and a durable black nitride finish. Factory markings include NIGHTHAWK and AGENCY on the slide, BERRYVILLE, AR USA on the frame, and NIGHTHAWK on the barrel hood.
Its 4.25 in bushingless bull, match-grade barrel features a hex-style hood plus a faceted, full-crown muzzle. The tri-top slide adds topstrap knurling and a faceted nose, yielding a sight radius of 5.76 in. Factory dimensions are an overall length of 7.85 in, height of 5.23 in, slide width of 0.92 in, overall width of 1.40 in, and an empty weight of 33.3 oz.
Nighthawk’s Interchangeable Optic System uses a tapered cut with a locating pin and set screw to maintain return-to-zero when swapping plates. This pistol includes the IOS plate for the Trijicon RMR footprint. Sights are a Heinie Straight Eight Ledge rear with a single tritium dot on the IOS plate and a tritium front with a white ring (Trijicon H3 25).
The DS aluminum grip is textured and redesigned to be shorter and thinner to help reduce printing, while controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety. A skeletonized rowel hammer and hand-polished ignition parts support a crisp, single-action trigger. Capacity is 16+1 in 9mm Luger, and the pistol ships with four 16-round magazines and factory test/QC paperwork dated July 3, 2025.
