The flat-top upper receiver provides a Picatinny rail and comes with a detachable carry handle rear sight featuring a 6/3 elevation drum. Up front is the A2 sight post with sling swivel. Forward assist, brass deflector, ejection port cover, delta ring, and a triangular front handguard cap are present.
The barrel is stamped C MP 5.56 NATO 1/9 HBAR, indicating Colt manufacture and proof marks with a 1:9 twist rate. The marking aligns with the Match Target series configuration. The rifle is chambered for 5.56 NATO with a listed capacity of 30+1.
