    What's Included

    • Original box
    • Melvin Tyler Co. aluminum T-Grip style grip adapter (installed)

This is a First Issue Colt Cobra lightweight D-frame revolver chambered in .38 Special with a 2-inch barrel and six-shot, 6-flute cylinder. It was manufactured in 1962 and retains the Rampant Colt logo on the left side of the frame. The crane is marked with "LW," consistent with the alloy-frame Cobra configuration.

The revolver combines a blued carbon steel barrel and cylinder with a black anodized aluminum-alloy frame. The top of the barrel features a narrow, serrated sighting rib, and the ejector rod is unshrouded with a knurled tip. This small-frame configuration keeps weight down while maintaining classic Colt lines.

Sights are fixed, with a ramped, serrated front and a gutter-style rear notch in the topstrap. The action is double-action/single-action with a spurred hammer for precise manual cocking when desired.

Factory-style details include checkered walnut service stocks with silver Colt medallions. An aftermarket Melvin Tyler Co., Oklahoma City, aluminum T-Grip style grip adapter is installed and included, adding a period-correct enhancement to the front strap without altering the original stocks.
