This Intratec MOD. TEC-9 is a full-size, U.S.-made 9mm semiautomatic pistol from the 1987–1990 era, predating the 1994 Federal Assault Weapons Ban. It features a 5-inch barrel with a threaded muzzle and ventilated shroud, a matte gray tubular steel upper, and a black polymer frame with molded Intratec logos. Marked "INTRATEC MIAMI FLA. 9 MM LUGER MOD.
TEC-9," it retains the standard configuration and includes one 30-round magazine and the original owner's manual.

Built in the 1987–1990 period, this TEC-9 is a pre-ban example in the standard full-size configuration. It carries factory markings on the receiver and a serial number plate above the trigger, aligning it with the classic production run from Intratec in Miami, Florida.
The upper is a tubular matte gray steel receiver with an oval ejection port and dual welded wire sling loops at the front-left and rear-right. The frame is black polymer with molded Intratec logos on the grip, pairing durability with the model's distinctive profile.
Its 5-inch barrel features a threaded muzzle and a ventilated shroud. A threaded rear end-cap/takedown plug supports straightforward disassembly. Sighting is via a fixed front blade and fixed rear notch.
Operation is simple blowback, closed-bolt, and semiautomatic, with a right-side cylindrical charging handle. Capacity is 30+1 rounds of 9mm Luger, and this example includes one 30-round steel magazine.
