    What's Included

    • Winchester Model 42 .410 Bore pump-action shotgun

This Model 42 is configured with a 26 in plain barrel and modified choke, offering a straightforward field setup. The barrel is clearly rollmarked with: 'WINCHESTER - MODEL 42 - 410 - 3 IN. CHAM. - MADE IN U.S.A. - WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL'.

The 3 in chamber pairs with a tubular magazine for a 3+1 capacity using 3 in shells.

The gun retains its high-polish blued finish over a steel receiver and barrel. Furniture includes an uncheckered walnut stock with a steel Winchester logo buttplate and a grooved walnut slide handle, delivering classic Winchester handling and aesthetics.

Mechanically, it features right-side ejection, a hammerless action, and a takedown design for convenient transport and maintenance. Sighting is via a single front bead on the plain, no-rib barrel.

As a purpose-built .410 counterpart to the Model 12 and produced in 1960, this field/standard configuration has strong appeal for both use and collection. The barrel and takedown group carry a matching assembly number that corresponds to the receiver serial, consistent with original factory fit.
