Birmingham Nitro Proof marks and a Jana Denver import stamp are present, and the receiver is drilled and tapped with a scope mount installed.

The Model 1200 uses a Mauser 98–pattern controlled-round-feed action with a full-length external claw extractor, offering Mauser-style feeding and extraction. It has a turned-down bolt handle and an internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate and release in the guard, providing a classic and practical layout.
The rifle is chambered in .30-06 with a 22 inch barrel and a 4+1 capacity. Sighting is via a hooded ramp front blade and a folding barrel rear sight, giving clear, traditional sighting options. The receiver is drilled and tapped, and a scope mount is already installed.
The one-piece walnut stock is a Monte Carlo design with a right-hand cheekpiece and skip-line diamond checkering on the forend and grip. It is accented by a contrasting dark forend tip and grip cap with white spacers, plus a ventilated rubber recoil pad marked PH/ENGLAND. Two fixed sling loops are installed.
Proofs and markings include PARKER-HALE LTD. BIRMINGHAM ENGLAND and CAL 30/06, Crown over BNP Birmingham Nitro Proof marks on the barrel and receiver, and a Jana Denver CO import mark. The rifle originates from England and dates to the 1970s–1980s era.
