This rifle uses the CZ 550 controlled-round-feed action with a full-length claw extractor and fixed ejector, providing positive feeding and extraction. The square-bridge receiver includes integral 19 mm dovetail scope bases for direct ring attachment. The steel receiver is finished in blued, with Czech CIP proof marks and a CZ-USA, Kansas City, KS import mark.
The 25.6 in heavy/varmint-profile barrel is steel, cold hammer-forged, free-floated, and finished with a recessed/target crown. The bore is clean with sharp rifling and no iron sights are installed, allowing the barrel to remain uncluttered for precision work.
A composite varmint stock anchors the system, finished dark gray with light olive webbing. It features a beavertail, wide flat forend for bag or rest stability, a straight comb, a recoil pad, and front and rear sling studs. The included stud-mounted bipod is installed for immediate support.
The single-set trigger offers a refined pull for precise shot placement. Safety is handled by a two-position safety and a bolt shroud safety. Feeding is via an internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate, holding 4 rounds. Length of pull is 13.0 in.
Manufactured in the Czech Republic and marked "MADE IN CZECH REPUBLIC," this example represents the discontinued CZ 550 series, which concluded around 2015. The combination of the heavy free-floated barrel, CRF action, and set trigger makes this a purpose-built varmint/precision configuration.
