This Hawken-pattern reproduction was made by Investarm in Italy and imported by Interarms, carrying Italian proofs, the PN black-powder mark, and a boxed "BA" date code corresponding to 1991. The barrel is clearly marked "BLACK POWDER ONLY – MADE IN ITALY – CAL .50," aligning with its percussion ignition and single-shot configuration.
The rifle uses a 22-inch octagonal carbon steel barrel with a blued finish and rifled bore. A drum-and-snail bolster with a clean-out screw supports straightforward maintenance. The external hammer and percussion cap system adhere to traditional Hawken styling.
Stocked in hardwood, the half-stock includes a cheekpiece and a crescent buttplate. Brass furniture—trigger guard, buttplate, nosecap, and thimbles—adds to the classic presentation. Sling attachment points are provided via a barrel lug and toe stud, and the length of pull measures 15.0 inches.
Function-focused features include double set triggers for a refined break and an adjustable open rear sight. An under-barrel ramrod with a brass tip is in place for loading and maintenance.
