The Vzor 70 is a compact service pistol chambered in .32 ACP, built on a steel frame with an exposed hammer and a fixed barrel for simple blowback operation. It was produced by CZ Uhersky Brod and aligns with the 1970s–1980s manufacturing era. Slide markings read "VZOR 70 CAL 7.65 MADE IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA," with additional marks including a triangle symbol and the letters "gp" near the serial. Made in Czech Republic.
Controls include a DA/SA trigger system, a frame-mounted safety with decocker, and a left-side button magazine release. A checkered takedown button is positioned ahead of the trigger. The pistol uses a single-column 8-round magazine for a total capacity of 8+1.
The slide features oblique rear serrations and an anti-glare top to aid handling and sight tracking. Sights are fixed, with a front blade and a rear notch. Brown phenolic grip panels with CZ logos complete the classic factory configuration.
