This Browning BPS Field Model in 28 gauge pairs the BPS bottom-ejecting, bottom-loading design with classic field features and tasteful factory engraving. Built in Japan in 1994, it has a 26 in Special Steel, vent-rib barrel with a Standard Invector M (Modified) choke and a 2 3/4 in chamber. The walnut stock and beavertail forend feature cut checkering and a recoil pad, while the blued steel receiver carries waterfowl game-scene and scroll motifs.

The BPS action loads and ejects from the bottom, keeping empties directed downward and away. The tang safety is easily accessed by right- or left-handed shooters. Capacity is 2+1 in 28 gauge.
The 26 in Special Steel barrel has a vent rib and a single front bead for a clean sighting plane. It uses the Standard Invector screw-in choke system and is fitted with an M (Modified) choke. Chambering is 2 3/4 in.
The receiver and barrel wear a blued finish, with the receiver factory-engraved in waterfowl game-scene and scroll patterns. Markings include: "INVECTOR BPS SPECIAL STEEL 28GA–2 3/4 in FIELD MODEL–26 in" and "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q. — MADE IN JAPAN."
The walnut stock and beavertail forend have cut checkering for grip and a recoil pad for shoulder comfort. Length of pull is 14.0 in. This full-size Field Model was manufactured in Japan in 1994.
