Detailed checkering, tuned controls, and fixed low-profile 3-dot sights round out a compact, well-finished package built in the USA.

This Ultra CDP II is built by Kimber’s Custom Shop and configured in the micro-size 1911 platform. It uses a 3-inch match-grade ramped barrel with a left-hand 1:16 twist, a full-length guide rod, and an 18 lb recoil spring. Chambered in .45 ACP, it offers a 7+1 capacity in a compact format.
The two-tone construction combines a satin silver stainless slide with a lightweight aluminum-alloy frame finished in KimPro II matte black/charcoal. The slide features a lowered and flared ejection port and Carry Melt dehorning for smooth edges.
Controls and ergonomics include front strap and under-trigger-guard checkering, a high-ride beavertail grip safety with raised pad, a checkered magazine release, and a lightweight three-hole aluminum trigger. A skeletonized Commander-style hammer and standard thumb safety are complemented by a Swartz-type firing pin block.
Sighting is via fixed low-profile dovetail 3-dot sights. Double-diamond checkered hardwood panels provide a secure grip that matches the pistol’s compact dimensions.
