    What’s Included

    • Winchester Model 290 semi-automatic .22 rifle

This Model 290 uses a semi-automatic blowback action with a cross-bolt safety and an under-barrel tubular magazine. It feeds .22 Short, .22 Long, and .22 Long Rifle, offering flexibility for target work or small game with a single platform.

The barrel measures 20.5 inches with a 1:16 inch right-hand twist, and the overall length is 39 inches. The bore shows good rifling, and the rifle weighs approximately 5 pounds, giving it a handy, well-balanced feel.

Sights are classic open style: a ramped bead front and an adjustable open notch rear with both elevation and windage adjustment. The rifle is finished in blued steel and wears plain hardwood furniture with a straight-comb stock and steel buttplate.

Markings include the correct Winchester roll mark on the barrel for .22 S, L, or L.R., 'MODEL 290,' and 'WINCHESTER' on the sight base. Winchester proof marks are present ahead of the receiver, consistent with U.S. production during the 1960s–1970s period.
