Notable for its U.S. Customs and Border Protection roots (developed in 2019) and opened to the commercial market on January 16, 2023, this Glock G47 Gen5 MOS is a full-size 9mm with the G17-length slide and barrel paired to a shortened dust cover. This example is in excellent condition and features tasteful enhancements including Talon griptape and a blue Tyrant flared magazine well.
The Gen5 feature set is present throughout: no finger grooves, front slide serrations, the Modular Backstrap System, and the Glock Marksman Barrel with nDLC surface treatment. The black nDLC slide has front and rear serrations and a factory MOS optic cut with the cover plate installed. Sights are the standard Glock fixed polymer set with a white dot front and white U-notch rear.
Built on a black polymer frame with an accessory rail and a standard left-side magazine release, this striker-fired pistol offers a 17+1 capacity. Dimensions are barrel length 4.49 in, overall length 7.95 in, height 5.47 in, width 1.34 in, and weight without magazine 23.21 oz.
Two factory 17-round double-stack magazines are included. The MOS adapter plate 02 is provided, and extra backstraps are in the factory bag, allowing easy grip sizing to the shooter.
This G47 also highlights Glock’s modularity, with parts compatibility noted across the G17 Gen5 MOS, G19 Gen5 MOS, and G45 MOS families. Matching serials appear on the barrel hood, slide, and frame and correspond with the case label.
