The 20-inch heavy contour barrel is carbon steel, non-threaded, and finished in matte black oxide. It is rollmarked "308 WIN TACTICAL" and capped with a recessed crown. The bore is clean with sharp rifling, aligning with the rifle’s strong mechanical presentation.
The Model 700 short action uses a two-lug bolt within a cylindrical carbon steel receiver. The receiver is drilled and tapped, and this rifle has two-piece scope bases installed. There are no iron sights from the factory.
The stock is a Hogue overmolded synthetic unit with pillar bedding for consistent receiver support. It features a molded pebble texture for grip and a Hogue-branded recoil pad. Length of pull is 13.375 inches.
Feeding is through an internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate (BDL-style) and a 4-round capacity. The safety is on the right side.
