The Glock 23 Gen 3 delivers the proven compact .40 S&W format with the generation’s signature finger grooves and a single cross-slot accessory rail. It uses a striker-fired action with a trigger safety and a safety blade, and a left-side, standard magazine release. Capacity is 13+1.
The steel slide and 4.02 in barrel wear a matte black finish. The barrel uses Glock’s polygonal rifling, and the slide is cut with rear-only, vertical serrations for charging.
Sights are the factory fixed polymer set: a white-dot front paired with a white U-outline rear, providing a familiar Gen 3 sight picture.
Origin and markings include MADE IN AUSTRIA with importer marking GLOCK, INC., SMYRNA, GA. The slide, barrel, and frame share matching serial numbers, and the included factory test envelope shows a test-fire date of 02/18/2010.
This example features a custom stippled grip frame along with added grip tape, giving the frame a distinctive textured surface.
