The O.Z-9 platform centers on a serialized modular steel receiver that fits within a polymer grip module. Grip modules are interchangeable, offering the ability to tailor the frame to different sizes; this listing includes a gray compact grip module not installed.
The Duty-series stainless-steel slide wears a matte black finish and features aggressive front and rear serrations for confident manipulation. It is optics-cut and fitted with a screw-retained cover plate that carries the rear sight; removing the plate allows direct mounting of a red-dot optic.
A gold-colored threaded 4.6-inch barrel is installed and capped with a hexagonal thread protector. The original black, unthreaded 9mm barrel is included as a spare, giving the buyer two barrel configurations in one package.
Sight picture is fast and clean with a red fiber-optic front and a black serrated notch rear. The slide’s cover plate retains the rear sight, maintaining a consistent sighting solution when the plate is in place.
This striker-fired Duty Compact X uses a curved trigger with a trigger safety and includes an integral 3-slot Picatinny accessory rail on the dust cover. It is compatible with Glock double-stack 9mm magazines, and ships with two 17-round magazines and one 15-round magazine for a listed maximum capacity of 17+1.
