The P320's modular fire control unit (FCU) is the serialized component, visible through the grip module window. This core design allows the FCU to pair with compatible .45 ACP Compact Small grip modules and slides within the P320 ecosystem.
The slide and frame carry the EXETER, NH rollmark, identifying earlier production prior to SIG's transition to Newington. The stainless steel slide wears a Nitron finish in black, and the stainless receiver chassis resides in a durable polymer grip module.
Controls include ambidextrous slide catch levers, a left-side takedown lever, and a reversible magazine release. This configuration provides flexible handling without an external manual safety.
Front and rear sights are fixed and dovetailed, with a front blade featuring a single white dot and a square-notch rear. The dustcover incorporates a true M1913 accessory rail with five slots for standardized fitment.
This Compact Small .45 ACP variant uses a 3.9 inch barrel and offers a 9+1 capacity. It is striker-fired and built in the United States.
