Launched on April 15, 2025 and co-developed with HS Produkt in Croatia, the Springfield Armory Kuna is a micro-size 9mm pistol built around a roller-delayed blowback system. This example features a 6 inch cold radial hammer-forged barrel with a factory multi-port brake and 1/2x28 threads, a monolithic aluminum upper with Type III hardcoat anodizing, and fully ambidextrous controls. It ships with two 30-round magazines and retains its factory box and manual.

Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.

The Kuna’s monolithic aluminum upper integrates full-length Picatinny along the top and a rear 1913 rail end plate, with integral handguard slots for direct accessory placement. The upper uses a Type III hardcoat anodized finish, while the 6 inch barrel is Melonite treated for corrosion resistance and durability.
Its roller-delayed blowback action, paired with a factory multi-port brake and 1/2x28 threads, delivers controlled cycling and compatibility with standard 9mm muzzle devices. The barrel is cold radial hammer-forged with a 1:10 RH twist.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the safety, paddle-style magazine release, and bolt release. A reversible, non-reciprocating, folding charging handle provides flexible setup. The flat-faced aluminum trigger offers a straight press feel.
Adjustable hybrid flip-up metal sights allow either a pistol-style open-sight picture or an aperture-style option. The pistol uses dedicated curved polymer magazines with reinforced metal feed lips and a 30+1 capacity; two 30-round magazines are included.
The polymer lower employs an AR-pattern grip with Adaptive Grip Texture and a storage compartment. Proof and import markings read “SPRINGFIELD ARMORY – GENESEO, IL, HS PRODUKT KARLOVAC – MADE IN CROATIA.” Model KN9069B is the no-brace configuration. Receiver and bolt numbers are in the BFKS series with a noted non-matching pairing.
