The 340PD’s ultralight build comes from its scandium-alloy frame paired with a matte gray titanium cylinder, keeping carry weight down while maintaining .357 Magnum chambering. The 1.875" two-piece sleeved steel barrel is marked "NO LESS THAN 120 GR BULLET," noting the factory recommendation for bullet weight in this platform.
This revolver is double-action-only with an enclosed (internal) hammer for a snag-resistant draw. It includes a smooth-face trigger and an internal key lock. The black frame finish contrasts with the titanium cylinder for a clean, functional look.
Sights are straightforward and effective: a pinned green fiber-optic front blade and a fixed top-strap rear groove. The setup offers quick sight acquisition in a compact J-frame footprint.
