The Bodyguard 2.0 is a recent release in S&W’s micro .380 lineup, clearly marked BODYGUARD 2.0 on the slide with .380 AUTO on the chamber hood. The slide is marked Maryville, TN U.S.A., and the pistol is made in the USA.
Its stainless steel barrel and slide wear S&W’s Armornite finish, complemented by front and rear slide serrations. The dust cover is clean, with no accessory rail, and the slide has no optics cut.
Steel sights are standard: a tritium Bright Dot front with an orange ring and a black U-notch rear for a crisp sight picture. The polymer frame is finished in black with molded textured grips featuring S&W medallions.
This striker-fired model includes a manual thumb safety and a trigger safety tab. The frame warning notes it is capable of firing with the magazine removed. Dimensions are approximately 5.50 in overall length, 4.00 in height, and 0.88 in width.
