Made in West Germany, this HSc shows correct post-1968 commercial features and markings. The barrel is stamped 9mm Kurz (.380 ACP), and West German proof marks are present on the chamber and right side of the frame. The Interarms import mark with starburst (Alexandria, Virginia, U.S.A.) is clearly applied. Serial numbering confirms 1971–1974 production.
The HSc’s compact, all-steel construction pairs a fixed 3.4-inch barrel with a straight-blowback, DA/SA system. It uses an exposed, partially shrouded hammer and is sized for discreet carry with an overall length of approximately 6.0–6.2 inches. Capacity is 6+1 rounds of .380 ACP.
Controls are period-correct and intuitive: a slide-mounted safety/decocker, a heel-type magazine release, and a magazine disconnect safety. The design omits an external slide release; the slide runs forward on magazine insertion. Angled rear slide serrations provide positive traction for charging.
Sighting equipment is straightforward and durable. The front is a short ramped blade, and the rear is a square-notch dovetail. Checkered wood grip panels complete the classic HSc profile while offering a secure hold. This package includes two original-style steel magazines, one with a finger-rest baseplate, along with the original case and manual.
